Carpet & Snares Records
Established in 2014, Carpet & Snares Records is a label and record store based in Lisbon and managed by Jorge Caiado. It is the result of a plural vision of house and techno, with a desire to develop and express that vision providing fans, artists and DJs with a physical space and an editorial platform.
In the midst of a new wave of local producers, the shop has been instrumental in developing new talent like André Leiria, the first artist to release on the label, but also in creating synergies with established artists such as Steve O’Sullivan, S.Moreira, and Losoul.
With their ambitions set on high, expect much more to come from one of the pillars of Lisbon’s underground scene.
